Bus Service
Bredfield Parish council have put forward a proposal for a bus service to replace the Service 70 which was recently axed and have contacted neighboring parishes for their support. Their proposed timetable and route is printed below. It doesen’t serve Ipswich directly but would mean you could connect with Service 64 to Ipswich in Woodbridge or travel to Ipswich by train from Woodbridge Railway Station.
We need to gauge how much support Charsfield residents would provide to such a service so can you please let us know whether you would be likely to use the bus on a regular or occasional basis.

Bredfield Bus
The objective is, with the support of other local communities, to submit a request for
funding to re-instate a bus service.
The bus route is designed to link with both Melton and Farlingaye schools as well as
Woodbridge and Greater Anglia trains.
Next step is to agree the route and talk to other villages, East Suffolk and Suffolk County
Council.
