Immense thanks to Alan Ward, Peter Holloway and Arthur Consadine for their very generous time and expertise in making all the necessary repairs to the children’s climbing equipment at the Recreation Ground.

Without their help, the equipment would have needed to be removed or, alternatively, replaced at a cost of around a staggering £32,000!

A new bed of chippings can now be sourced for the Children’s play area.

Other smaller repairs will be made by the equipment supply company on 28 April and therefore it would be advisable to keep children away from the site during this time.
