The Tour of Britain Cycle Race – 2nd September

Exciting news! Organised nationally by British Cycling and locally by East Suffolk Council, the Tour of Britain cycle race will be passing through villages in Carlford and Fynn Valley ward on Tuesday 2nd of September, including Great Bealings, Culpho, Grundisburgh, Clopton, Debach, and Charsfield.

Let’s get together and given them a rousing cheer and a warm Welcome to to Charsfield as they go by.

They will pass through Charsfield along the B1078, towards Wickham Market, with the lead cars around 11:15am and bikes 11:30am, but get there earlier as these times may very a little, and roads will close.

We have designated two viewing points.

• The School Rd junction, .ie. the lay by and the gravel area in front of Bridge House, by kind permission of Andy & Margaret Reeve.

• The B1078/The Street junction.
