Ipswich Book Festival begins this Friday!
It’s finally time – the first ever Ipswich Book Festival begins this Friday!
Including author talks & panels, book signings & meet-the-authors opportunities, workshops & writing masterclasses, children’s & family activities and poetry & spoken word performances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy across this incredible weekend!
Events include:
- A reading by acclaimed novelist Eva Verde from her new work
- In-conversation event with Gavin and Stacey star Larry Lamb
- Andrea Smith discussing presenting Shakespeare on radio
- Onjali Rauf looking back through her incredible books
- Lisa Thompson discussing making dyslexia-friendly titles for children
- Henry Eliot looking at the history of Penguin Books
- Neil Prentice and John Wark celebrating Ipswich Town legends
