Deben Solar Farm Update - Charsfield Village

As you may be aware, the Deben Solar Farm applicant recently submitted to East Suffolk Council a revised planning application. You can view it on the East Suffolk Council Planning portal here:

Yesterday East Suffolk Council extended the deadline for response by the public and consultees like Parish Councils (it was 22nd April), the deadline is now Fri 22nd May.

Last autumn Charsfield Parish Council voted to Object to the application and we then submitted a comprehensive response to East Suffolk Council. The plan now is to review the new application, amend the original response accordingly and resubmit it to East Suffolk Council. There will be a Parish Council meeting mid-May about this and a vote on Support/No comment/Object to the application, then the Parish Council response goes in. Later in the month we’ll let you know the Parish Council meeting date.
