TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF B1078 CHARSFIELD ROAD, CLOPTON AND PART OF B1078 ASHBOCKING ROAD, HEMINGSTONE 1
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing B1078 Charsfield Road from its junction with Otley Road for approximately 2km to its junction with Drabbs Lane, and B1078 Ashbocking Road from its junction with Rectory Road for approximately 1.8km to its junction with Church Road, to facilitate white lining and asphalt works.
Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route for B1078 Ashbocking will be A140, A1120, B1077, and vice versa.
The diversion route for B1078 Charsfield Road will be B1079, Grundisburgh Road, A12, B1438, B1078 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate between 19:00 on Friday 8th May until 5am on Saturday 9th May. The closure of Ashbocking Road will only take place once the closure of Charsfield Road has finished.
