Deben Solar Farm Planning Application Update

A reminder of the current status of this planning application, there’s no immediate change. The decision by East Suffolk Council for this solar farm application, located in Letheringham right on the Charsfield parish boundary, is now likely well into 2027, at least. This is as a result of the ESC decision this summer that a formal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is now required to be submitted on behalf of the applicant. Consequently, this application decision by ESC is now quite a way off.
