Local information about the flooding as a result of Storm Babet.

I have just written to our contacts at The Environment Agency and Suffolk County Council Highways detailing the flooding which occurred on Friday and requesting further discussions on any measures that could be taken to mitigate damage from future occurrences.
Can I just remind you that if your living area (not garages, outbuildings or sheds) was affected by flooding please report this using the Highways Reporting Tool https://highwaysreporting.suffolk.gov.uk/. This is, of course, your personal choice but The Environment Agency will use this data to formulate any future plan regarding flooding in Charsfield.
Will keep you informed of any progress.
