Drop In flood resilience sessions

Drop In flood resilience sessions

Representatives from Charsfield Flood Action Group and Charsfield Parish Council will be visiting the Framlingham event.

The Environment Agency is organising two drop-ins with partners in November about how we can increase our resilience to flooding. Flyers below.

These events will be a ‘market place’ set up, with a number of stalls with professional representatives, residents will be able ask questions and get more information on topics such as Property Flood Resilience, community emergency plans, watercourse maintenance and flood warning systems.

The first two meetings are being held in the two of the most impacted communities, but we would welcome any Suffolk residents who want to find out more about increasing their reliance to flooding:

  • Debenham – Tuesday 26th November, 15:30-18:30pm – The Community Centre, Sports and Leisure Centre, Gracechurch St, Debenham, IP14 6BL
  • Framlingham – Friday 29th November, 15:30-18:30pm – Castle Community Rooms, Church Street, Framlingham, IP13 9BQ

This is the first of a series of events, with further meetings distributed across the county to be announced in the new year.
