HELP NEEDED

Would you have a spare hour or two every so often to join the Recreation Ground Taskforce?   Although the grass and hedge cutting is performed by contractors, there are occasions when help is needed.  This may involve checking equipment, small repairs and some weeding in order to keep the grounds in good condition for the children and other users.  There is no regular commitment but it’s simply a case of many hands make light work!!

As you may know, Gerry Smith, the Chair of the Committee has stepped down after many years of involvement.  His contribution has been invaluable and his drive and determination will be greatly missed.  

As a result of this and a further resignation, we are now also urgently seeking additional Committee members.  

The Committee meets four times a year, usually on a Thursday evening.  The first meeting of 2025 is set for Thursday, 16 January at 7.30pm.
