Burglaries in Charsfield – Be Alert

There has recently been a break in involving theft from outbuildings in Monewden Road. It is believed the thieves parked in nearby fields and transported the stolen goods by foot. Last week the padlock on the overhead bar at the gate to the recreation ground was found to have been sawn off. It is not known if these two incidents are connected but it would be advisable to check your outbuildings for any missing items and make them as secure as possible.
